Pepary Investments is our initiative aimed at rejuvenating commercial farming through strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships, empowering local farmers and contributing to the positive growth of food production in Zimbabwe. Approximately 1,200 hectares are under irrigation at our three farms with a view to further roll-out expansion.
Crops currently produced – potatoes, maize, wheat, soya beans, cherry peppers, chillies, peas, popcorn and passion fruit.
PHI Commodities, together with a recognised potato seed producer, have formed a joint venture called Kukura Seed House to produce and distribute high quality potato seed and related biological products. Based under a quarantined environment in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands, pure sanitised varieties of seed potatoes are grown which supply our corporate farm division and contracted commercial potato farmers. Specialised storage facilities ensure quality and integrity of product is maintained and year round availability.
